Die Initiative Friedens- und Konfliktforschung (IFK) und das Akademische Auslandsamt (AAA) veranstalten die
The central theme of this summer school is the training in strategies of communication and dialogue, combined with selected topics addressing causes and manifestations of conflicts, as well as analysis and solution techniques. The school is addressed mostly to young and academically qualified people, who will be able to contribute significantly to the development of peace in their home countries. -- A few experts will present and discuss selected questions: the role of religion, insufficient resources as cause for conflicts, the possibilities of international law, terrorism, political approaches. On Sunday, an optional visit to the KZ memorial site in Dachau is offered. Three evening lectures (in cooperation with the PAX office of the City of Augsburg) will also address the general public.
