Special Issue: Commemorating Max Planck
On the occasion of his 150th birthday. Max Planck was born April 23, 1858, in
Kiel. He died October 4, 1947, in Göttingen. Planck was closely associated
to Annalen der Physik for almost fifty years (from 1894), in particular, he edited
the journal from 1907-1943. He published 45 papers in Annalen der Physik
